Happy Canada Day!

There are no classes today, but our July newsletter is now available.  Please use the link at the bottom of our website’s homepage to get your copy now.

Just a reminder that as stated in the email that went out last week and yesterday to those affected, all Youth and Adult Karate classes have been changed to the summer schedule. All Lil’ Dragons, Aikido, and Fitness classes are staying the same.  For more information, please use the Okami Kai mobile app or consult our website.

Sorry for the double notification.  Anyone wishing to attend the outdoor YOUTH/ADULT KARATE classes on Saturday need to reserve their spot by noon tomorrow.

An email was sent out yesterday regarding our special classes tonight and tomorrow afternoon.  Please let us know if you did not receive it.

Just a reminder that although all classes are running today (Saturday), there will be no classes on Monday due to it being Victoria Day.  Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!

Somethings you should consider before you begin online training….

1. Make sure your camera is placed where I can see ALL of you and not just your head. This will help me teach you and will also help you get the most from your online training experience.
2. Have water close by especially if you are doing more than one session.
3. Having a training partner available (especially for the Lil’ Dragons and Aikido sessions) will help. No martial art experience is needed for your partner.  It is not necessary to have someone join in, but it does help.
4. Have questions and content ready.  I do have lesson plans ready, but I also want to make sure that you get the most from your check in time with us while you are training at home.
5. All Youth and Adult students should have their handbooks available for every online class.  Brown and Black Belts should have paper and pens available so they can write down their created curriculum requirements (basics, kumite).
